Today, biotechnology firmly holds a leading position among scientific disciplines dedicated to the study of living organisms, as well as issues related to medicine, veterinary science, and livestock breeding. It is regarded as a modern and highly advanced form of industrial production. In the classical sense, biotechnology is a scientific field that explores methods and approaches for creating various substances and materials by leveraging natural biological structures and processes. Looking back at its origins, one can confidently assert that biotechnology is arguably the oldest technology known to humanity.
